I have a small painful lump on side of abdomen about 6 inches to the right of my belly button. Was told last year that was a cyst. Painful off and on but more so the last few weeks. Any help please let me know

I am wondering what the shape and size of the lump exactly are. A red lump can be a lot of things like I am thinking it could possibly be an ingrown hair or something of that nature. In any case, if it doesn't appear to come to a head or anything like that then get it checked by a doctor so that you can be sure it's not something more serious. Can you please let us know how it goes when you see the doctor so we can all benefit? Thanks :)
