For the about three months now I've been having really bad anxiety problems. I feel like my heart is going to stop beating and I'm short of breath more often than not. I've gone to the doctor and he has listened to my heart and lungs, says they're fine. He has done blood work and said everything is perfect. I'm just so scared all the time. I was using an ecig 24/7 for about a year to quit cigarettes. This started about the time I began dosing down on my nicotine. I quit cold turkey after it started. Perhaps this is just a protracted withdrawal? Any words of wisdom?

It's very possible that panic attacks are the result of withdrawal because suddenly your body isn't getting the nicotine it wants even though the nervous system still wants it , as a result your left with anxity/panic attacks. Prozac is "supposed" to help with anxity and panic attacks but the side affects arnt worth it . I've had anxity attacks all of my childhood so far they are just startkng to get better but even little things like sombody shouting can set it off witch is so annoying because people act like I choose to have an anxity attack ! Ugh! Any ways back to you . Yes prozac can work but if you don't like side affects like me and since your 23 get yourself some herbal ciggarettes . They are 100% tobacco and nicotine free they are usually rose petals and mallow leaves. There are other things in it but yeah concider buying some from your local tobaco shop or online they should help your anxity and your smoking situation. It's no threat to your health and I would totaly do it too but the idea of getting cought smoking any thing scares me. Hope you look into this it will help you ! :) good luck
