Hi, recently I have began liking a girl who has been a friend for about 2 years now and we began to start having feelings for each other. Every now and then, one of her ex-boyfriends from about 1 1/2 - 2 years ago began to text her. She does not save his number into her contacts and keeps the texting name as just the phone number. I know who it is, but when I ask her who she is texting, she will reply with "Don't worry about it." or "It's no one of importance." I even read through the messages at one point and saw that he was trying to make plans with her to go out to dinner and to hangout. She ultimately ignored the first encounter with him, but recently he texted her again trying to make plans with her. I didn't read these messages so I don't know exactly what they may have talked about. He would type extremely long messages and she would only answer the text like every 10 - 15 minutes. I want to believe that she is staying loyal to me and just trying to avoid his messages, but another part of me is telling me she may potentially see this ex in the future. It really bothers me, even though we aren't quite boyfriend/girlfriend.
Talk to her, convey your fears and anxieties. Talk things over. Brooding over gets nowhere. If she wishes to be with her ex, just leave!! There are other fish in the sea
