A friend recommended foderma serum to me. This winter, the eczema on my hands were really bad. My hands were puffy, painful, dry, itchy, and flaky. I tried a lot of hands cream but none of them were working. I was really skeptical about this serum, but I was also very desperate so when my friend recommended me foderma serum I decided to give it a try. I've been using this product for the past two weeks and my hands has almost healed to normal. I really regret not taking pictures to show proof of my hands before and after, but I'm really glad I was recommended this serum.

As an adjunct to my own post above, there are a number of "moisturizing gloves" available on Amazon. These claim some efficacy in treating hand dermatitis. The method I describe above is more flexible and possibly more effective, but you should be aware that the approach is widely used and alternatives are available. The above method may also be used with an inexpensive cotton gardener's glove over the vinyl glove, giving one a lot of flexibility in terms of day and night time use.

I had this problem. After an allergy test, I found I am allergic to rubber. It makes life difficult because everything seems to have rubber. Phones, phone cases, ink pens, calculators, car steering wheels, etc. The dermatologist told me the only cure is to stay away from rubber. It takes about two weeks after coming into contact with rubber or silicone before the fingers start peeling and cracking. It only happens to my left and right thumbs and forefingers, and none of the others. Wierd.

It's been a year since your post so I'm hoping you are having improvement with your fingers. I have the same condition, I've had it for a long time. I originally thought it was due to the diaper creams I was putting on my babies all those years ago. But, as a 50 year old woman, I was diagnosed with celiac disease two years ago. That meant I had to go to a gluten free diet. Miraculously, my finger condition cleared up about three months after I removed the gluten from my diet. I was told the fingertip eczema was due in part to my auto immune disease. It is actually an autoimmune response. You may consider asking your doctor to check for a possible undiagnosed auto immune disease.

Thank you for sharing! I’m going to try Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream, USP 0.5%.
I hope it works for me. Dealing with this is so frustrating!

I have it, every time I use it, my fingers swell real big and hurt bad. Worse with it. I've been drinking garlic water and using emuaid max. It's healing within 2 days. I use lots of oatmeal lotion. I soak my fingers in oatmeal too. My thumbs on both hands peel and crack. My pointer finger and middle finger do too.

I have found that using a lotion that is pure (or as close to it) vitamin E heals my fingertip eczema better and faster than anything else, including prescription ointment. Put it on as many times a day that you can. I also literally dip my finger in the lotion so it's completely covered and then put on a latex (or similar) glove before going to bed so it "soaks" all night. Never fails!

have you considered a nickel allergy? I am a long term sufferer and nickel on contact and consumed can cause what you describe. Look up pompholyx and nickel allergy. Be aware of multivitamins as these can cause flare ups. Also some of the ointments prescribed add to the problem.

I had this problem for several months. I did my own research online and found this discussion, among other websites. I tried applying Vitamin E and then covering my fingertips with band-aids. Took Biotin. Nothing helped. Finally went to the doctor. Was prescribed "Betamethasone, Augmented 0.05%." It did nothing. Then a friend told me about tea tree oil. It has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. I applied it undiluted to my fingertips, again covering with band-aids. It made my fingertips worse. More cracking, peeling, sensitivity. Then I read about tea tree oil and dermatitis online. I should have diluted it in a "carrier" oil. I decided to use a very good quality of olive oil. One drop of pure tea tree oil (must be pure, good quality) to 10 drops of olive oil. I applied and covered with band-aids. I had a lot of improvement in just a couple of days and the problem was completely resolved after about 10 days of the oil application. I re-applied every time my fingers got wet (shower, bathroom, etc.) I could not believe it! My fingertips had cracked, peeled, the skin hardened. I had red pinpoint dots and my fingertips were extremely sensitive to touch. All of these symptoms have resolved and my fingertips are now completely back to normal. I hope this helps others.

See my recent post about tea tree oil. I had the same symptoms as you and tea tree oil cured my problem completely within less than 2 weeks. Good luck!
