I am 16
and for the last 2 and a half years my periods have been out of wack. I mean that i have had them 24/7 i would sometimes have a couple day break but besides that i would have them all the time. Some weeks lighter or heavier than others, but on the heavier weeks i have a lot of blood clots. My doctor has said that it should go away or i can take birth control to regulate my periods, but is their anything else i can do? Why is it like that?
Periods are like that, take the birth control, it helped me regulate mine. I would say that would be your best bet. I was on birth control for a little over a year, until I started to have to side effects more worse than my period side effects (that barely happens to people on BC). I stopped the BC after yr. and some months and now I'm pretty regular. If I were you I would try it for a few months and see how it helps you. I went on Yasmin, that is a really good BC to start off with.
