i am having those symptoms right now. i am on the pill as well. i have been feeling period cramps for days and it will hurt for a little while then stop. i am feeling pain on my waist and back and i have already taken a pregnancy test but it came out negative, i dont know what to do.

Hi there I have had kids before but I think I am pregnant I have hard nipples and White bits showing I can't eat certin foods like eggs and I love eggs !! hi i am in the same boat as you, i am late on my period but only by a day ive always been dot on but i did take the pill last year in march and my periods have only got back to normal.
me and my fiance are trying to conceieve for 13 months but no luck as yet, im getting tender nipples, bloating, spots as i usually do when im due on my period but no blood as yet no menstrual pains etc i dont want to take a pregnancy test incase i get a negative :( dont want to be let down. any suggestions ?

I'm no expert but had the same symptons as all of you BUT don't want to scare anyone!
2 months ago I had abdominal cramps- really badly, bled a little and only when they checked the pregnancy hormone levels in my blood, they realised that it was going up and that I was having an ectopic pregnancy.
It ruptured by fallopian tube and I had to have it removed. So don't just sit on it, get it checked and keep pushing for a intravaginal scan as they can pick it up there, if it's grown enough.

iam scared too today was supposed to be my day for period and iam still wating for blood i have not had sex for awhile but now iam getting paranoid since my periods have usually been normal is something wrong with mee and i have all the period symptoms but no blood and taken tests and all say negative whats wrong with me

You ladies might want to do a little research into Endometriosis. I had it and many of the symptoms I've read above can be caused by it.

OMG thank you so much! today is only my third day of having the period like effects but no bleeding and ive been scrolling down this page looking for someone to tell me why and thanks to you i have that reason, because i have been eating mcdonalds so much lately because of the monopole thing they have going on every year my diet has been compleatly off, im still going to do a test on friday just to make sure of it all but i can almost garrentie that this is the reason, i also think that i may have delayed it even more because of getting so stressed about all the thoughts in my head like 'what if im pregnant' and 'there is no one i can speak to about this apart from my boyfriend but that will scare him to' but yeah, my reason for writing to you is to say thank you so much! fingers crossed the test on friday IS negitive :L

omg thank god i am not the only one like this. im still young only a teenager (16) but have had my period since i was 9. its always been super irregular and am now currently on birth control for the cramps and to try and make it more regular. but the pills not working so i am going on a stronger dose of it. this is the first time ive had the feeling like im on my period but have not had any bleeding what so ever and its kinda weird. i am NOT in a relationship, have never been in one and has never had sexual intercourse with anyone so i know for a fact that i am not pregnant. does anyone know why i feel like im on my period but with no bleeding? if anyone knows, please let me know!

Hey ladies! I think I may have an idea about what's going on. First, make sure you take a pregnancy test once your period is due or soon after. If it's negative (like most of ours were), then it COULD be that you're experiencing an anovulatory cycle. What I've gathered from reading about it is that extreme stress, sudden bad eating habits, etc. during the time when you should be ovulating (approx. two weeks after the end of your last period) can cause you to NOT actually release an egg. Because of this, when it's time for your period to start you feel the regular symptoms (bad cramps, etc.), but you do not bleed because there is nothing for your uterus to shed. Some background info on me: I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative, and I'm a couple days past when my period should have started. My boyfriend and I are always super careful (we always use condoms, and check during and after sex to make sure they have not ripped), and we have had no broken condoms or any other situations that might worry us this month. I'm experiencing symptoms EXACTLY like I normally do during my period (severe cramps and back pain, more frequent bowel movements, slightly sore breasts, and one bout of crying over something random). I'm not peeing more than normal and I have felt no nausea. I'm just as confused as the rest of you, but this is my best guess as to what is going on. I hope I start my period soon, or at least continue to get false pregnancy results lol. Good luck to everyone out there!
