okay.. so i have been having the same exact symptoms as you guys. My periods are never regular, so in the beginning i wasn't worried. But i had unprotected sex... well i wouldnt call it sex... (my bf put it in me one time and that was it) recently. I didnt expect to get my period after that because like i said, they are always irregular. but the other day i got really sick. i was nauseated, extremely tired, and dizzy. all of which are symptoms of pregnancy. But a few days before that i started having cramps exactly like the ones i get before my period. the cramps started five days ago and still no period. because i am having these cramps i dont think i am pregnant but i just dont know!!!! please someone give a good response ! :'(

I'm 16 but I'm still a virgin. My period is almost a week late, but I'm having all the symptoms like cramps and lethargia and sore breasts, but like the rest, no flow. I'm not sure if it's stress from exams coming up or if its my diet or both, but someone please help! :-( :-( :-( ? ? ?

You are 22 and giving medical advise with extremely horrible grammer and using short had "text" verbage. I highly disagree and believe you should probably see a doctor because missing a period could mean something other than a bad diet.

Okay so this is completely normal, especially if your thinking you may be pregnant which could relate to stress, meaning if your stressed or worrying that your "late" due to fertalization it could be making your period late because of stress; If you are concerned go to a doctor. But assurance always helps so dont worry about it cause that will cause more health problems with your period. So dont be concerned this is common; :D

Well ladies I suggest you all go to a coochie doctor because your no bleeding could be from a lot of different reasons like stress*, a vaginal infection, sexually transmitted disease, cists on your ovaries* (cancerous or not), your diet or health, use of hard drugs like ecstacy also irregulates periods, pregnancy, birth control, depression, or your cycle could just possibly changing. Either way your body is trying to tell you something and going to the doctor for professional advice is your best bet. :-|

So basically you and me are in the EXACT same boat as you and we have the EXACT same symptoms and situation; only instead of work, i am in school. Do you skip the period all together or can you still get the missed period by changing your diet back to being healthier?

hey did anyone find out if they were pregnant? please answer becuase i am having the same problem and i know it isnt because of my diet. the nearest fast food restaurant is an hour away from me. so, it cant be that. i dont eat much fatty foods, but i know that i am having abdominal cramps and pressure, edema, headaches, fatigue and tiredness, tightening stomach, NO PERIOD, specific cravings for alcohol, ice and chips and salsa, weight gain, and i have veins showing on my chest legs and arms. i also am uncomfortable sleeping on my stomach now and i ALWAYS SLEEP ON MY STOMACH!!!! so im in a loop and have no idea why these thingsa re happening. .. . could it be pregnancy or ovarian cycts???

i have been searching everywhere and i cant find the answer, mainly because you cant diagnose pregnancy over the internet, but i dont have insurance so i cant quite go to the doctor and get tested for cheap.

i loved reading these cause i know i'm not alone. i have exactly what everyone is writing. i get all the symptoms especially the cramping and bloating but i dont bleed. my period comes maybe every 3 months and its really weird sometimes, dark brown, bits in it etc. i went and had an ultrasound and it came back with no issues, i've had all the tests etc. (paps, std etc) and they all came back fine. i went on BC in highschool, i was on the pill then in college i did depo for 2 years then tried the pill again. for me i always just believed that putting man made birth control into my body had completely screwed up my cycle but then i wondered why it never screwed up my friends. i then asked my mom and it turns out she never had a regular period, neither did my aunt. she had no issues getting pregnant ( i am actually a twin) and the conclusion my mom and i came up with is that it is genetic. not everybody is gonna have a perfect 28 day cycle. everybody is different. and your body changes as time goes on just like other things. yeah it sucks going through the symptoms and always wondering am i pregnant but untimately i'm still very healthy. i find that herbal teas really help me with my symptoms especially pms tea by Traditional Medicines. i am 30 years old and have not yet tried to get pregnant so i dont know if this will affect my chances. hope this helps. i think the more we stress about it the more it gets irregular. i just think that every BODY is different.

I don't know if any of you have had any colposcopies or biopsies done, but I had one done a few weeks ago, had my usual agonising period pains when I was due on at the beginning of this week but no blood. I've phoned NHS direct and have been told that rarely, the cervix closes after biopsies are taken due to "over healing" and this prevents the blood from escaping, so it pools up in the uterus. It's called cervical stenosis. I'm seeing my GP tomorrow to find out if this is the case for me. I've looked it up online and it seems to be more common than the nurse at NHS direct was letting on and was not a risk I was made aware of. I'll let you all know if I find out anymore from the doctor tomorrow.

I phoned NHS direct tonight to find out if it may be related to the biopsy and the nurse I spoke to said she'd found something that said, very rarely after biopsies, the cervix closes due to "over healing", which prevents blood escaping and it pools up inside the uterus. This is called cervical stenosis. I have been told to see my GP first thing tomorrow to see if this is my case. I will let you all know if/when I find out more x
