I found this thread with a search. Not sure if I fit. I am a 63 year old male, good shape, healthy diet (some fish, no meat). About 4 1/4 years ago I was in a car accident, had 2 back surgeries (this may pertain), I am not sure when zi notices the bulge on my right side, below breast, goes down to side of belly button. In early morning before I eat it is pretty much not there, after breakfast and each meal it gets biggest. Thought it was figured out as a Spegellian hernia, went for surgery, no hernia. Doc thinks maybe nerve or muscke bamage from my back surgery. I will see a GIRL doc but this is really nuts. Akso, not sure what the point about almonds was, I do eat almond butter???????

My 6 year old daughter has this problem. We discovered it was related to improper hip flexion. She is seeing a neurosomatic therapist (corrective massage) and doing the stretches she was assigned. The problem has greatly improved.

Have the same problem here. I am 5'6 ft girl, 26 yrs old. Im actually skinny, actually i am under weight but once i eat i look preggy. And its so darn noticable in photos. Grrr! This just started when i was 23 yrs old. I think genetic is one factor. I am observing my moms belly, we have the same shape. But come on! Im single and i dont have kids. I used to have flat belly before. Im thinking if girdle would help? I dont need abs. Its okay if i have round tummy but big lower belly making me look like preggy?! Any suggestion please...

I use talk to text so I kind of missed that one up! but it was no assumption that my stomach has gotten bigger, the measuring tape told me so, so when he asked had I just eaten I knew it was all bad!
