me and my partner have been together for 3 and a half years and have our own flat together. less than a year into our relationship, i got pregnant and we decided on abortion. it was the worst choice that we have ever made and we still regret in but we do realise it was probably the right thing to do at the time. i was just going to uni, living at my dads and we hardly knew each other. now we've decided that we deffo want a baby and soon! but i have to finish uni first. so next year we are going to start trying. i'm 20 and my boyfriend is 29, and we're not taking this decision lightly. we've already planned everything and started saving.
questions:
how long do you think it will take to become pregnant after coming off the pill?
do you think 8 months is enough time to spend with my baby before going back for job training? would 1 year 8 months be better?
also, what do you think of my situation? people's thoughts won't change my mind but i do realise that its a bit unusual for a 20 year old to plan a pregnancy like this.
thanks!

When you are on the pill once you stop taking it you are more likely to pregnant quicker. Thats how I got pregnant I skipped one day and I got pregnant. There are test that you can take that tells you if you are ovulating. It really depends on what your doctor suggests is the best time for you. I think that you did what you had to do and if you weren't ready then you weren't ready. I understand about being young and just meeting your boyfriend. So good luck on your journey and I hope you get pregnant.
