I had the LEEP done 4 weeks ago, my 2 week checkup looked good and she seemed to have gotten all the abnormal cells. I asked when would be a good time to get pregnant was, and I was told to wait. Im just about 32 with part of a cervix here, and Im afraid waiting will increase my risk of not being able to either get pregnant or hold. Ive read numerous stories of pros and cons after LEEP, knowing some were able to conceive 2 weeks after and have a good pregnancy and a healthy baby makes me wonder. Im not convinced waiting for me is the best option regardless of what my dr. says. I do trust her opinion, and I dont feel I know better, but Im running out of time. My boyfriend and I have discussed this at length, and have researched all we can, and we are still at a dead end of what the right thing to do is.

Hi Danie, I think that if you are still worried about waiting that you might want to look into seeing if you can get your eggs frozen? If you don't think that your doctor's opinion is right then you can also get a second opinion. Have you decided to seek one out? I think you should try that if you aren't sure. What do you think?
