I'm 44 / Married and we have a 22 year old son. Periods are very irregular after having my son and im not on any contraceptives , I figured I did not get pregnant all these years what makes Doc think I am pregnant now. Did i find out I was wrong! I was in so called peri-menapause and I went to the Doc for a sick note and was asked to take a pregnancy test to rule out, so I had the attitude of go ahead " I know I aint pregnant thats for sure". Urine test came out Positve for pregnancy. Total shock . Blood test results all normal thou . Is it because I am in the early stages ? I have a ultra sound appointment to see exactly how far along I am. I am so in denial, I took 2 Home pregnancy test and it came out positive. I know having a baby at my age is a heaven sent for sure. I am just scared. Anyone had the same thing happen to them ?
