I have been diagnosed with TMJ. This causes a bigger issue then most people realize. Jaw pain, headaches, also effects your nasal area and ears. I recommend if you are having head pain and MRI's and CT scans are showing nothing to go see your dentist. The mouth guard that I have to wear at night and while working works wonders. :-):-)

Guys, All,
I am so reassured to see we are not alone. I've been battling the same thing for over 15 years and longer. Now 54. several doctors and consultants and scans later still no medical diagnosis. Been keeping a daily log for several years to find out what is triggering.
It is like peeling back the layers of an onion. from the original symptoms similar to migraine with complete debilitation i've been tracing back to a sequence of precursor symptoms but not yet to the root of the problem. I've found some techniques that alleviate and hold off the major debilitation but still struggling to stop the recurring episodes of attack.
The first characteristic is that when there are no symptoms I forget I ever have a problem and body feels well.
Second characteristic is that what I call GS (grip in stomach) began to occur in my 20's and I used to take aspirin and go to bed and sleep if off. The frequency has been increasing to weekly over the last 15+ years but sometimes by careful managment I can stave it off to perhaps three weeks between bouts.
The third characteristic is that the intense portion of the attack lasts about 6 to 10 hours and usually then subsides.
the fourth characteristic is that when I wake in the morning I recognise small signs that previously I would have ignored that tell me that an attack is brewing and is about to become intense in about 4 hours. These signs include 1. blockage and congestion in nasal passages. 2. pulsing heart beat in nasal bone and growing sense of pressure pushing out from inside nasal bone. 3. frontal sinus mild discomfort but not yet headache. 4. tension in back of head / neck.First symptoms I took note of many years ago were a blinding headache, stomach churning but not throwing up, gassing, bloating, loss of strength in limbs, loss of ability to think straight and recall information (like my home phone number).
Possible triggers noted: Chocolate, Milk, white bread, pastry, cake, sugar.
... I'll come back and finish this description.... Dave

hello..
I have been having the same symptons for around a year which also led to anxiety symptons including a couple of anxiety attacks as not knowing the cause was making the symptoms much worse. According to three different doctors I have seen it is just another symptom of anxiety ( in my case) so maybe thats something to check out. hope you get to the bottom of it.

I've had this issue. For me it was caused by an allergy to beer.
Never had a problem til I was 28 years old. The day after drinking 1 to 10 units of beer I would have enormous pressure at the top of my nose that expanded to the middle of my forhead and to the temples. It got so bad that at one stage I thought I was going to have an stroke. I could often hear popping sounds coming from the top of my nose between the eyes (bubbles). The pressure would go away after 6-12hours.I just stopped drinking beer or if I needed to, took anti-histamines which sorted me out.I have also had anxiety which feels almost the same however the pressure was not so bad....more of an uncomfortable feeling around the head. I just relazed or took a quick nap to relieve this. I was smoking marijuana at the time which seemed to trigger it... no pot, no anxiety...simples.
Hope this helps. Your issues are most likely from allergies.. Maybe try illimanting the mor elements one at a time. Yeast. Milk. Gluton.
