I too have had these symptoms. After many visits to the urologist and a full workup nothing was found.
After doing research I found what is called pelvic floor dysfunction. This causes the feeling you mentioned above.
Physical therapy and a dr who specializes in it can do wonders.
There are many books and information online.

I just a band ligation on a hemmoroid. While looking me over noticed I had a small fissure as well. I have had one before and no picnic. The procedure was More painfull than led to believe. It could be that he poked at the fissure enough to irritate it. About 5 days after and I developed urinary urgency. It has lasted two days. The colorectal surgon's nurse says that this can happen with a fissure due to the rectal sphincter spasms. Gonna take some Tylenol and some Azo standard and hope it subsides. Good Luck.

I have all the exact symptoms as everyone has listed here for almost 2yrs only thing ever found was an anal fissure. If I workout I feel like c**p, like I'm going to wet my pants. Also burning/with pressure in my rectum. No one has found anything but and anal fissure. Now most people when they get a fissure tear on the back of the rectum I tore on the front. Near the urethra. Imagine taking your finger into the rectum and hooking it forward and this is where my discomfort was. Pressure in the rectum like I always had a raisin or something in my rectum. Most people also feel like they are pooping glass with a fissure and I had no pain while having a BM. Actually felt relief afterwords. But this led to a great deal many visits to the doctor until it was spotted by a colorectal surgeon. Even the id**t who did a colonoscopy on me missed it as I (on the table about to be put under pointed to the front of my rectum and said it is uncomfortable RIGHT HERE! And pointed. for those of you who don't know what a anal fissure is it is simply a tear in your rectum. There are procedures for fissures and there is the catch. They cut the rectal muscle to stop the spasms to allow blood to flow to the fissure and let it heal. But the incision is just another tear/cut in your rectum. Please to all the posters above get checked for a fissure this may be your issue. My symptoms have not gone after 5 months. So I don't feel the surgery was success but not knowing what's wrong is the worst part in all of our suffering.

Also please note to add to the above post I feel worst when I'm sweating or standing for long periods or sitting on something hard. But sweating in particular in the bum region drives me crazy. When I'm dry I'm pretty comfy. So this also leads me to believe its the fissure and not the prostate as I don't see how being wet in my bum region would bother my prostate but it would certainly bother a tear in your rectum.

The only issue with this is, if you by chance have an overactive bladder, cranberry may actually irritate the bladder further.

Hi, I'm a 23 year old male experiencing relatively the same symptoms. I have had a full blood count, ultrasound, and several urinanalyis which have all come back perfect.
Strange thing is this never wakes me up at night, and just makes me go a lot during the day (perhaps 10-12 times). Did anybody find any solution? The doctor has put it down to stress *eye roll* because it did start during a stressful time and it does go away when I take my mind off the thought of it. Any ideas?

I am in my mid 40s but have experienced pressure on my bladder and colon for the past 10 years. Sitting all day at an office job doesn't help. Standing and exercising along with massages help temporarily, until I start sitting at work for the week again. For me, I think it's a combination of many things and no doctor has been able to give a precise answer. I believe it's a combination of muscle, prostate, stress and IBS. IBS being the major factor along with the sitting. Most people eat crazy when they're in their teens and early 20s and then start drinking. When you hit your late 20s and 30s, the intestines start to yell at you. Eating healthy along with probiotics and reduce all sugar intake helps a lot. Not sitting all day and getting a massage focusing on glutes is amazing. Men, no wallets in your pants, that will mess up your muscles if you sit all day. Walking, jogging, stretching is very good. No sugar and probiotics for your intestinal health is good. Obviously I you drink a lot of water and caffeinated drinks at work and you sit all day, you're going to have to urinate frequently, and the prostate is pressed against the bladder from sitting and causes weak flow. Normal. So get up and stretch, get a standing desk or stand and work as much as you can. This is something that seems to affect so many people and needs to be addressed more or studied more from a medical perspective as well as companies world wide. Sitting at desks will cause SO many problems and even heart issues.

Pretty lady, you might not know it, but you seem to provide a clue to the many male adults(50yrs) with these symptoms that the doctors are eager to treat as prostate disorders. There is a dearth of research done on "the battle of the front and back passages-who triumphs?"
Any specialists on board here as many differential diagnosis are really their heads here-Ulcerative Colitis?
