Hi, guest.

Generally, the Prism Diet encourages balanced eating, which includes fruits and vegetables as part of your daily meals. Here are some general guidelines for portion sizes of fruits and vegetables that align with a healthy diet:

Fruits:

- A typical serving of fruit is one medium-sized piece (e.g., an apple or a banana).
- For smaller fruits like berries or grapes, a cup of fresh fruit is a common serving size.
- For dried fruits, a small handful (about 1/4 cup) is typically a serving.

Vegetables:

- A serving of cooked vegetables is usually about 1/2 to 1 cup.
- A serving of raw vegetables, like a salad, is often around 2 cups.
- One medium-sized carrot or celery stalk is also considered a serving.

Keep in mind that portion sizes can vary depending on your specific dietary needs, age, gender, and activity level. It's important to tailor your portion sizes to meet your individual calorie and nutrient requirements.

It's not really low carb in the sense that keto is. In phase one of the Prism Weight Loss Program you cut back on tons of carbs to break any chemical dependency on sugar, white flour and comfort foods. In phase 2 you add back a couple things, then in phase 3 you add more back in. Little by little you figure out what triggers you to over eat, address emotional and psychological eating, add some activity and get to a place of (hopefully) life long self-control. The daily reading with optional scripture is what kept me going doing it alone and losing 60 lbs that I have kept off. I think I did the program 2 years ago or so. But now I'm leading a group because people noticed and wanted to try what I was doing. The curriculum phases are now on Amazon.
