I was suggested to use cortisone ointments is treatment of psiorasis. I haven’t found them very effective. What else can be used in topical treatment of psiorasis? I have spots on legs and they are not so visible, but look bad. Do you have any suggestion? Thanks.

Application of tars on the affected areas can help in improvement of psoriasis. I tried it several times and found it effective. I have psoriasis that is really hardly visible, so it doesn’t bother me much. Anthralin is also effective topical treatment. It’s an old remedy and I think that it’s probably the most effective.
