I haven’t had any major skin problems in the past, but after I got really bad strep throat infection last winter I developed guttate psoriasis. I was probably prone to psoriasis in the first place, but that guttate breakout was really horrible. I was on steroids topical for 3 months and had several really bad side effects – but it did help to clear the affected area (arms). The problem I’m having now is that my skin is visibly darker in places where psoriasis patches were, as if it’s some kind of scar tissue left. That’s why I was wandering will the skin heal itself and return to the normal color, or do I need some treatment to make this happen.
Thanks in advance
