Im to embaressed to go to a doctor because I'll have to tell my mum. I just want to get it sorted. I am a virgin. But I do masturbate abit. I havent let anyone look or touch down there. cause of the embaressment. can you PLEASE tell me whats wrong with me ASAP so I can sort my self out. Do I have an infection or something? and How to I treat it without going anywhere with poeple knowing whats wrong with me?
Hi honey! Is this bump RIGHT inside your vagina right at the opening of your vagina? Also honey, being seen by a gynecologist is a good thing for your overall health! Most doctors say to start seeing a gynecologist when you first get your periods! They will NOT do an internal till your much older!
I will help you further about the bump OK?

its on the outscirts. I dunno what to do. I cant go to a what ever you said as I live in the countryside. I cant go to a doctor as I work on days there are buses, so i cant go. thankyou! Ive had my period since I was 10 and ive never heard about this. Ive had these bumps since I can remember.
OK! A couple of questions then I will tell you what to do with taking care of it OK?
1. You said it is on the outside of your vagina so looking at this W the 2 V are your lips and the /\ is your vagina, is it on the bottom of the V or the inside of the /\ ?
2. When you say puss bumps, do you mean like the size of a pencil eraser or smaller, or bigger? Do they look like 1 bigger one or really tiny groups of them?
3. Do they hurt if you don't pop them?
4. Do you feel run down, achey, BLAH, or are your lymph nodes around your throat swollen, when this is happening?
5. Are they ALWAYS there?
6. Are they more apparent around the time of your period?

Good afternoon Bambi 27,
I am replying to your post because you seem to know quite a lot about this issue. So I am telling you pretty much the same problem. 2 Days ago I felt some disturbs down there, not yet pain though. Yesterday evening it began to hurt a little and I bacame curious and when I tried to "explore" what was happening down there and I noticed 2 may be 3 little lumps (like a pencil eraser) within tha outer lip (the left one). When i touch them they hurts more. I read on the web and may be it is a blocking in the Bartholyn's gland but I am not sure.
Another thing: More than a week ago I got a antibiotics cure for my stomach, and after barely 2 days of using the antibiotics, there was a major vaginal discharge and it hasn't stopped yet. I think this caused irritation in my skin (although a rinse very often because the discharge is a lot) because I noticed that there were very minor cuts and it hurts.
What do you suggest to me? I have an appointment tomorrow with the doctor but he is a man and I feel a little bit unconfortable with the fact that he will be wondering around down there.
I would appreciate your answers, oh and by the way I am 24 years old :-)

Hello Unabobu! I always say that when doctors perscribe antibiotics they should aslo give you a pack of yeast infection medication!! It goes hand in hand! What you have is called Vaginal Thrush - or more commonly a Vaginal Yeast Infection! We ALL have yeast in our bodies it is called Candida! So when we are run down and then take antibiotics the bodys own defence mechanism is made to stand back and when that happens the Candida spreads like wild fire, and you will soon find a thick whiteish discharge, an itch, bumps on the labia, a rash, sometimes it looks like cuts, and many women complain of a fishy smell from all of this!
So you need to get ahold of a long acting yeast medication, don't use the 1 day one or the 3, those are for slight, try the 5 day pack first! It will come with a suppositiory and a cream the cream stops the itching and the rash! Even when it starts being better, still use it to the end! As if you don't it will just come back with a vengence! Take probiotic yogurt, and get Acidopholus pills = these are millions of good bacteria, that your body needs to attack the yeast as well! And if you are ever on anitbiotics again, start immediately with the Acidopholus! Keep the area clean with non soap, non scented cleanser - such as Spectrogel, Physioderm or Treraseptic! These are ALL fantastic cleansers, and the last on is a major antibacterial! You should be all better within the week! And know that most women and men get Thrush! Just keep on top of it that's all! Good luck and health honey!

1. It around the /\.
2. theyre different sizes. they vary. they are not the size or a pencil erasor. theyre much smaller. crops of really small bumps, there are some bigger than others.
3. Ive only popped one once. and I didnt try to then, that was years ago. but it stung when I walked.
4. naaaa. I get iron tablets every day from my mum and I eat alot. I never feel run down. Im never sick. so i dont have any throat problems.
5. yes theyre ALWAYS there.
6. I dont "explore" down there while im ony my period. I just clean down there. and thats the end of it.
THANKYOU by the way. Ive been worrying about this for years. and now I get the guts to get help. will I be able to have children? or have sex in the future?

Hi hon! I never asked this, but have you EVER been sexually active of ANY kind and didn't use coverage? Because the bumps sound similar to herpes!!!! But you can only get that from an infected person! I know you are young and had this for a long time, I just want to rule this out!
Im a virgin. I havent had anything near me. Ive done things to boys. but havent had anything near there. i wont let them.. because of this. Im nearly crying here.. hearing I have something similar to herpes :-(
OH NO!! Don't worry honey, I just wanted to rule that out!! Due to the fact that you have had this for years and they are always there, and that you don't feel unwell I have several theorys - NONE of them bad OK?!
1. Vaginal Fordyce Spots - Google Vaginal Fordyce Spots and take a look they can be from 1mm to 3 mm and EVERYONE is diferent!
2. Labial Sebacious Cysts - Google these as well!
I know this is embarassing and upsetting for you honey! BUT labial cysts are VERY common - your entire pubic area is moist, dark and warm a TOTAL paradise for bumps and bacteria! Since you don't feel unwell and are not sexually active, this isn't an infection it is just bumps under the skin! Sebacious cysts, are fat under the skin, and fordyce spots are found in your eyelids, your mouth, your labia and your anus! They are TOTALLY and UTTERLY natural! So try not to worry about it OK? Keep the area clean and try to air dry as much as possible! do NOT use talc powder, use non scented products for washing and the skin! When ever you do get to see a doctor, mention to him/her that you would be more comfortable seeing a gynecologist and then they can send you to one OK? Does this help you honey!?
