I CAN RELATE 100%. best and only advice, go jogging. sweat it out. drink fluids, and do more jogging. within 4 weeks, youll be back to normal, and you can decide if you want to begin smoking again. lol. if this happens again, repeat steps 1 - 5. lol anxiety? paranoia? cold smelly sweats? anger? rage? insomnia? no appetite? racing thoughts? speedy as a mofa? tweaked out? headaches? Pick a day to begin taking better care of yourself. and follow steps 1-5. good luck. the force is with you. dont worry its only thc. its not crack cocaine. but the symptoms suck for just some herb! its because we love that flower God created from the earth. just dont abuse it, and dont get attached. use it as a tool.

Hey all, not sure if anybody comes on here anymore, but I stumbled across this from a google search and decided to share.. to pass the time haha. Here's my story.

Been trying to quit... I've been smoking for 2 years, and about an HQ to a Q a day with my glass bong...

Wake and Bake was the best, as I needed the least amount to get high... But by the end of the night, I'd be toking a gram per bong hit, and still barely feel anything..so I'd be hitting that bong about 5-10 times until I felt something...then repeat when I'm starting to sober up..and the next thing you know, I'm already out of weed.

Today I decided to quit..again. I've tried many times in the past when I ran out because I noticed how much weed I'm devouring and it's eating up my money...However I always give-in by the end of the night(after spending the entire day sober) and manage to grab that "one last bag".

Everytime that I've tried to "quit" and not smoke, during that day, I'd be sweating excessively for no reason...I also noticed that I couldn't eat anything AT ALL and always felt really nauseated when I smelt and thought about food even though I know my body is hungry! I also felt so....angry.. I tried to force myself to eat, but I would gag until I spat whatever I ate out, or I had to flush it down with water...literally 1 bite of anything and I'm full... until I take that first bong hit.

THEN I devour EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that is eatable...and I eat so much it's scary.

I'm 22 now, about 5'6 male and have high metabolism.. Before I started smoking pot, I was a super anti- tobacco smoker(I didn't really know about weed haha) and loved going to the gym to work out. I weighed about 155lbs, which I think is pretty darn good for being 5'6! Since I started pot, I also started smoking cigs socially, whenever I'm stuck in traffic, and after a session (Been off of cigarettes for about a week now, cigs are easy to quit for me) I now weigh only about 130lbs on a good day...

So before I decided to quit, I thought, if I smoke and get munchies, I'm definitely going to gain it all back! But strangely enough, I've lost 30lbs over the year from smoking daily...Maybe that was due to me being lazy ever since I started and haven't really gone to the gym...But I have no motivation to go when I could just chill and smoke a bowl...

I've been awake since 10am, it is now 6:00pm. I've been craving, but MIND OVER MATTER. I need to get that 30lbs back. I need to start eating without taking a bong hit. It all starts here!

Just quit today. Been smoking for 10 years daily. I was dreading this day knowing that I had to quit for a job. I quit drinking about 3 months ago and I really crutched on weed. I loved getting a deep alcohol buzz and then smoking a bong load. I realized that my alcohol use was getting out of hand so I quit. The only way to help me get through that mess was weed. It helped a great deal. Now I have job coming up and I must quit weed. I love weed but its time to grow up. Once I have things on track I may smoke again but that's a ways away. I gotta say I have been sweating like crazy today and can't sleep. That's why I'm on here and it's 3:50 am. Anyways good luck to all who stumbled across this post like I did.

i gave up ciggerettes and weed 3 weeks ago ive been an everyday smoker for the last 5ish years and since ive stopped my armpits have been dripping with sweat regardless of how hot or cold i am. oddly enough at night when i start getting tired it stops and yesterday afternoon i decided to smoke some weed and it stopped it and when i woke up this morning it has calmed down alot should i be worried or is this just my body detoxing itself

I,ve been smoking for over 25 years and learned that when you want to stop for a while its a good idea to drown yourself in vitamin C,  unfortunatley though, If you want to stop for Good. You have to move from your neighborhood and find new friends that dont smoke. Tip. Look at it like a Cigar, one after work with a Drink. take control of your Addiction and train yourself for the evening Pleasure.

When you get the night sweats or just sweat more than normal, your hypothalamus is making an attmept to work on its own without being smothered by the THC.  This is a good thing, however, because sweating will help with the detox process.  This extreme sweating should only last a couple of weeks at most

I can say as a 4-6+ joint a day person I experienced these minor symptoms after quitting. Worst for me was sleep and being bored. ... I quit herein cold turkey a year ago so this is sh*t compared to that. Not being able to sleep for over a week and being in agonizing pain mentally and physically. All I was able to do on herein withdrawal was pace and smoke cigs.

okay this is my guess. I too have had the same problem several times when I stop smoking weed. When weed is smoked THC enters the blood and then is stored in fat. Well when you stop smoking weed the body then starts slowly getting THC out of its system. As this process takes place the body starts to burn excess fat to get rid of the THC concentration. Again this is just my personal opinion! so if anyone can disprove this theory i would love to hear some good scientific research that disproves this. I am very interested in this process and would like to know why this happens. So at night or throughout the day we experience these "sweats". As i am sure you all know eventually this process stops as THC levels in the body begin to decrease.

Same here bro too a T age 38 now n I smoked it every day from 7am till 3am like most people smoke fags it's the 7th/1/2014 I stoped New Year's Eve piss wet through day n night n my temper is scary suicidal thoughts every day in n off can't wait to get through it I stoped for 6 months before and felt fantastic after 6 months so let's keep it up you will be a new man or woman in no time good look

I'm a fairly sweaty peson in general, however I am an advid smoker and I find even when I just haven't smoked in the morning I sweat like crazy. Like right now I'm out and I can not get my underarms to stop. Unfortunately I think everyones right about our bodys just needing to flush out the toxins! A massage would probably help a lot too!

Wow.. I too have this issue! Have smoked weed off and on for past 15 years (more on then off). When I'm on I smoke daily (1-2 blunts per day). I'm now off for about 7 days and for the last 5 days I've been sweating.. Hands, feet, little bit of everywhere. I'd experienced this before but never wanted to put 2 an 2 together.
