The day before yesterday I shaved in the shower, and I felt a sting but I just figured I nicked myself, and didn't think anything of it. They usually heal pretty quickly. Yesterday I still felt the sting so I got a mirror and looked. I noticed a tiny circle patch of shiny skin that hurts to touch (similar to the inside of a lip. For example, when you bit your lip badly and the skin is shiny and painful). I slight freak out, and pat it with a warm towel. Today it still stung so I looked again and the patch is more defined. The skin is more rough as if its healing. It didn't hurt when I touched. There's no odor, no burning, just some irritation from my curiosity. So google, says its either herpes or folliculitis. I don't want to think its the worse thing and be herpes.
