I am 21 years old, and 115 pounds. Over the past week or so, I have noticed that I get hungry, but when I eat something, I am not eating very much, and then I feel very full. Ive also lost 5 pounds in the past week, so I am now down to 110 pounds. I walked a lot last week, so that might be what is causing some of the weight loss, but 5 pounds seems like a lot of weight. Every morning I notice that I have to go to the bathroom, and its runny. Im just wondering if anyone knows what it could be?
Do you feel nauseous or are you just experiencing diarrhea when you use the bathroom? Also, have you taken your temperature? If you are running even a low grade fever, it could indicate that there is some sort of infection that your body is trying to fight off. Perhaps you ate something that has caused a bit of food poisoning. If you are continuing to see noticeable weight loss, it is best to take a trip to your doctor and have him/her check you out. At your weight, losing five pounds in a week is considerable, especially if you are not trying to restrict calories on purpose.
Keep us posted. I am curious to see what your doctor says.

Hi:
Unless you are eating VERY little, the weight loss is highly unusual. Get to a professional if you can, right away. I believe that there may be phone hotlines for people with eating disorders. You may also have a medical problem, however, if you're not eating, your stools will be runny. There may also be free clinics with counselors who can recommend something to you. I would go that route and I'd see a medical doctor....right away.
