I'll give details so you can give me EDUCATED advice. I lost my virginity 6 days ago, my period had just ended the day before. Even though he said I was wet, it hurt and I did bleed that night as well as the next day. We did not use protection (I'm so upset/surprised/ashamed about that) and I didn't feel or see any ejaculation because we stopped once I started bleeding. However, I did take Plan B well before 24hrs had even passed. After the bleeding stopped, 4 days after sex, I experienced cramps. Now, 6 days after sex, I am having light spotting. Also, I've noticed an increase in appetite, but I don't know if that's because I was really focused on losing weight and now that I'm stressed about this I haven't really payed attention. I'm wondering if the cramping, spotting, and increased appetite within the week of losing my virginity is at all normal or if I should worry about pregnancy. Again, I didn't feel or see any semen, but just in case I did take the morning after pill. Help, especially ladies who can tell me about their experience losing their virginity.

Hi well just to say the pain and the bleeding is perfectly natural with your first time, it does get easier but the main thing to do is to be relax and to feel comfortable doing it because if your tense about it then its going to hurt more also if your bf is trying to rush and not taking his time then that will cause won't more pain. You could also try using some water based lubricant the next time as that will help make it slip in easier.
I think your find that the cramping and spotting is just the effects of taking the morning after pill, please though next time your going to have sex use a condom as the morning after pill is just emergency contraception and should not be used regularly.
You may also find that you night bleed a little the next time as well but that's natural. :-)

I truly thank you for your reply, for not sounding judgmental since I know we should use protection.

Before your answer I did start thinking maybe these were side effects of the pill and did some research. While it states the following period may be irregular, it didn't specifically say it could start one week after taking the pill! Apparently that is common so you're also right in that regard.

I'm disappointed with how many common side effects are not listed on the actual packaging, but believe these are symptoms of its effectiveness. So really, thank you for the advice.
