Hello, I had smoked weed for about a year. Some days pretty heavy some days just like a hit or two. One time after smoking and having a horrible panic attack I stopped and vowed to never go back. I've been clean for about 6 months or so and the only symptom I really have left is slight depression once and a while. ( for a while it was a panic attack everyday and pure hell, so there is hope out there for anyone feeling the same you will get threw it) My only real question is this, I know that I have done the right thing in quitting but how long will it take my body to be completely better? All the abuse my lungs took and everything and I even read that for the first hour after smoking weed your chance of a heart attack to increase up to 4 times. I'm sure my rate is going way down now but I was just curios as to how much it is going down. I am very active now and play basketball everyday and weight lift and go for walks and drink lots of water and try to stay very healthy. I am 19 years old. I was young and dumb and the high usually felt great but now I am growing up and I want to live to see my children grow up. Any help is greatly welcomed and I thank you in advance. God bless and best wishes on the road to recovery everyone.

Hi, I hope you still check out these posts, I don't have an answer, I have a question. When did the panic attacks stop if you can remember? And were you paranoid at all about your health when you had the withdrawals? How do you feel now? If you can please reply. Thanx
