So I went to a dermatologist and he's seen this before and its caused by friction that's what causes the red dots or scaling, people are posting on here because there probably to embarrassed to go to the doctors. Don't worry its not an STD it won't spread, the problem is it will never officially go away. Your stuck with it. The doctor gave me protopic ointment <--- this will work and will get rid of everything. Unfortunately I haven't found anything over the counter, but if you want to get rid of it use that stuff. So my advice to you go see a dermatologist tell him what you have and if he says he doesn't know what it is tell him you do and you need protopic ointment, it will clear everything up in about 3 to 7 days. I had the same symptoms. Thought was a yeast infection.. And put on monistat and made worse.. But was from jerking off with lubridrem 3-1 mens. I though was from sex and not washing my penis.. But no was from in-between sex master-bating lubriderm lotion.

I'm not a doctor or anything and on a budget but I went to the supermarket and got 3 packs of monistat 1 cut the oval ball thing and got all the cream and applied all to my head and foreskin I am not circumcised so it keeps it in better but seen results in 24 hrs no smell or itchiness just a layer of skin ready to peel off I've had intercourse since but I make sure ASAP I get a diaper wipe and really wipe my pecker super clean and reapply some more on day 3 right now and everything looks great btw monistat 1 has 1200 mg and using it daily is better worth the money and in less time than having trial and error with the 3 day or 7 day and making sure the fungus gets killed

Protopic ointment could also be cause of skin cancer when treating for eczema hope the doctor told you that too

Benny, you have to pull your skin back down when you aren't using it. Leaving it pulled back can cause the swelling you speak of and can get you in to some bad complications. Just part of having an uncircumcised penis. A little rule that we follow in the Med world..."if there's a curtain, ya have to make sure and close it." Hope that helps ya out.
