I need your thoughts on this: should I stop using Remicade and change to Enbrel? My hands and feet are killing me, I can’t remember the last time I had real sleep. My rheumatologist told me that this Remicade vs. Enbrel thing is not worth time, since they work almost the same. I am pretty much convinced that I need a change, and I heard there actually *are* differences between these medications, so please tell me about your experiences!

Hi, Lana, I’ll try to be short – change to Enbrel as soon as you can! I’ve been on Remicade for more then two years, with occasionally better or worse times, but I’ve switched to Enbrel three months ago and I really feel the change! You could even take Methotrexate with Enbrel, but believe me – you won’t need it, since Enbrel works quite fine. Even more – Enbrel comes in full package, along with all the stuff you need to give yourself a shot. However, I’ve heard of people who were taking Enbrel and still had pains, although more energy also, and their doctor switched their therapy to Remicade. I don’t know. My experience with Enbrel is great, but looks like this Remicad vs. Enbrel thing depends on each individual.
