This is exactly the same problem i went through few months back, except that i didnt have lower back pain but my right leg and my ribs and my hip hurted like hell...I then visited a neuro surgeon who wanted me to go for the coricosteroid shot.. while i was investigating on the web i felt it was not that good to take it..then i went to physical therapist as my friend sugested one... and Physical therapy really worked on it... you wouldnt see the relief as soon as you go to PT but you need to give it some time atleast few months for the whole thing to suppress... but now i am having some burning pain in my back and not sure whom to go to...My doctor still shows me the way of injection which i dont want to go anyways..
