Hi I know this is old but has anyone come up with answers to the question about scar tissue and ureters? I had my ureter cut in half three years ago and put back together ( open surgery) with psoas hitch and still get very bad pain in the ureter/kidney. I know I have scar tissue where I was cut on ureter as it shows up on ct as a stone (it’s called a calcification) anyway I’m over living with this pain and always worried it’s gonns get worse.

Just few days back only we came to know that my husband is having mild cortical scars in bilateral kidneys. His b.p remain between 130 to 90. Now he had started taking medicine for b.p. as his all reports are normal only creatinine is 1.2 only .4 higher. Can we preserve renal function for our lifetime. What about your ?
