Recently my wife thought she may be coming down with a yeast infection or something similar. She was "delicate" in that area but she thought we were okay to have sexual intercourse. We did because I was going out of town for work and we are trying to have a baby and it was that time of the month to try. My second day gone, I noticed a type of rash on my scrotum. It does not itch, there are no sores or anything. It's like small red splotches and a general redness over the area. Nothing is on my thighs or penis. Any idea what this is? Currently she is treating herself with the yeast infection meds.

It is quite possible that you have picked up a fungus infection or a yeast infection.
I would go to the pharmacist and ask for a topical cream to apply to the red splotches. He may also suggest either:
1) a diaper rash cream
2) Athletes foot cream
3) a yeast infection killing cream
But if you're still out of town, and don't have a doctor to turn to, the "chemist" may be able to advise you on a remedy while you're gone.
PS: It's also possible that your wife is treating herself with a chemical that you're sensitive to as well... you may be reacting to her treatment. Mention that to the pharmacist as well!

It does sound like you could have a yeast infection – even if it does not itch. Candida yeast is easily passed from one partner to another, so if either you or your wife is infected, you should both be treated. To help avoid future occurrences, make sure to wash daily, and also to let the area dry thoroughly before putting on any undergarments or clothing. Choose breathable fabrics, and try a penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) to help boost your resistance to minor skin infections.
