Hello, I have e problem regarding my 8 year old son. He has been diagnosed with asthma and I have to say that I am a bit afraid that I might have contributed to that illness. I want to say that I am a passionate smoker and that I do smoke in house, although only in kitchen and only when he is not in that room. But, could there be some relation between secondhand smoke and asthma?
Well, I don’t think you should be that hard on yourself. I mean, it seems to me that you have taken all the precaution measures for him not to inhale any of the cigarette smoke. And I do think that he could not get a condition so severe because of that (smoke he did not even inhale). Unfortunately, it is a severe condition and he will have to deal with it for a long time, but it is not because of you.
