I am in college and in the last year have gained 30 pounds fast because of unhealthy eating and alcohol.  I gain weight EXTREMELY easy and have been trying to lose weight any way that I can.  I can work out and have been, but I will eat very little or really well, and when I weigh (I know, I shouldn't but once) and see that I've lost a little weight that day, I immediately think I can eat some more and will eat bad. :( What do I do?!? I NEED to lose this weight, but I've got to do it healthily and effective.  Does anyone have good suggestions or something that will help?

Hey,

I understand where you are coming from, it is hard in college to keep track of stuff.

One thing I would suggest doing it stop going on the scales, judge if you are loosing weight by how your clothes are feeling, plus the scales don't take into account how much muscle weight you have on your body etc. If you are already eating healthy then that is a good start, also trying walking to and from College or going to a job around your local area. Just little things will help, im sure you will be surprised. If you do want maintain an eye on your weight using scales maybe take it down to once a month or something. Constantly checking is not good for your mentality. Stay positive and keep eating, drinking (water i mean.) and sleeping well.

There are no immediate cures, just keep at it!

Best of Luck!! :)
