Severe cramping after sex and no period

I recently had severe cramping in my bladder area after having sex. It was a pain like no other....now I missed my period. I've been regular for the past 10 years. I took 2 pregnancy tests and the results were negative.

Could this be an ovarian cyst? Can ovarian cysts prevent a period from coming?
