Hey everyone!

I am a 32 year old non smoking, rarely drinking male. About a year ago I was working out at the gym, doing crunches with a pull down rope and all of a sudden got an incredibly sharp pain in the right side of my throat near my Adam's apple. I could barely swallow or talk without feeling like someone was stabbing me in the neck.

I went to the ER and they did a CT scan and x-ray and found nothing. They put me on morphine, dilautin, percocet, and flexeril with no real relief. When I went home I decided I needed something to eat. I had a half of a peanut butter sandwich and after two bites the pain had completely vanished.

A few months later I bent down to pick up my 3 year old and the same pain. Went to the ER with the same routine. I got home and jokingly ate a PB sandwich and the same thing, immediately gone. I have spoken to Dr.'s and a Dentist and none seem to be able to figure this out.

It has happened a few more times and each time I run for the kitchen and eat some peanut butter on white bread and am "cured". I am going to an ENT this month but was wondering if anyone else has heard of or experienced this or something similar.

I literally experienced this today!
