Sex-drive after ablation surgery

I was having pain in my left ovary for yrs. In 2010 I had breast cancer. They went on and removed the cancer and nodes . They didn’t get it all and I had to go back in 3 weeks later again. In the mean time I had went to a Gyno. Told him about the pain in my ovary and with sex . He said my ovary was dried up and I just needed an ablasion. Soooo. They done both surgeries at the same time. As I say on my Hooter and cooter at once! So weeks later me and hubby tried to have sex. When he even touched me it felt like a hot poker was trying to kill me. It felt like I was cut inside , like an open sore. I went to a diff gyno . He said my left ovary was messed up and I needed to have them removed . So I did. After in recovery they said it was so infected and swollen it would have killed Mr if it had burst. But my other ovary had tons of eggs. So the first Dr destroyed me for nothing but I guess money for the surgery. We haven’t had sex since ! My husband is so understanding . But heck, we’re getting older, but not dead! I’m not suppose to take any kind of estrogen etc because of my cancer. I don’t know where to turn. Has anyone else heard of this before? Thank you

I had an ablation 1 year ago. I lost my sex drive and I have been experiencing abdominal pain. After going back and forth to the doctors office being told that the ablation was not the problem. I just found out that I’m suffering from a failed ablation. No sex drive, hot flashes, night sweats, irregular bowel syndrome, vaginal dryness, strong dark urine, my stomach flutters and makes sounds like something in my intestines are struggling to digest anything I eat or drink is not digesting properly. I have so many issues going on with my stomach after having that surgery. I’m going to have to have a hysterectomy next month because after seeing 5 Different doctors and having multiple tests done. I finally seen a doctor who has diagnosed me with Hematoma which is a condition that is causing me pain because of scared tissue causing dry blood to be trapped in the wall my uterus and it has no way to get out.

So sorry that this happened to you. I feel your pain after dealing with similar issues. I just wish the Doctors would give ppl more education on the side effects.
