Hang in there!! It's a sad trick your body and mind play on you to get you to go right back to where you were. If you have "horrible" issues, use the Nicoderm patches ( you can even cut them to the mg that is the lowest to take away the symptons. I smoked for 30 years and I am going on month 9 of being a non-smoker. Suffered all the same things everyone is. I couldn't believe the answer was to smoke again so I tried giving myself a "cheat" and to make healthy changes to balance things. ( #1, take fiber suppliments, #2 GET ACTIVE, MOVE, MOVE, MOVE. #3 Drink plenty of water, #4 Lighten up the diet (I spent 3 days journaling what I was eating and was shocked to discover I was about a cupcake away from Jazzy Scooter). #5 Take Vitamins, for years as a smoker we deplete our bodies time to put some good stuff back.
