I bet most of you guys are suffering from Phimosis. Look it up. I had it an just got circumcised. May I add, if you don't have it and don't need to get circumcised, great. Its not a fun process.

All I can say guys is if you have any fears about possible std's, get yourself off to the clinic and get it checked out by a professional. Some std's will leave you either blind, sterile or at worst DEAD!!.

"Hey guys,

Im 17 yrs old and I think I have balanitis..i have the wear discharge coming from under my foreskin (uncircumsized)... and I do admitt to having bad hygiene when it comes to down there. Ive been reading threads and I do have some smegma and its really tough to clean for me. Would running warm water and putting my penis under the tap be enough pressure to get rid of it?

Regarding the balanitis, its kina of red under my forskin (not on penis) and a little itchy, but I am able to fully retract my penis. Ive read some of the forums but I wanted to hear from someone for my specific situation. After I clean the smegma should I just dry and keep clean about 2 times a day and see if the redness goes away? Plz help me! Thanks"

im 17 also and have the same problem with my foreskin(uncircumsized)

its penile thrush!

a yeast infection of the penis or male thrush, the end result is a painful penis. It is possible to 'catch' a yeast infection of the penis through unprotected sex but then again you can be celibate and still develop penile thrush. Yeasts occur naturally in and on the body, but they only become a problem when they suddenly start to overgrow.

Yeasts like warm, moist places so around the groin and penis are ideal areas for them to live. If conditions become more favourable they will thrive and start spreading. There's usually no one thing that triggers off an attack, but anything that produces a prolonged increase in temperature and moisture in the groin area can be a potential problem. For example working out at the gym and not showering afterwards could act as a trigger. Also wearing tight jeans on a hot day will increase both the temperature and sweat levels in the groin area as well as create friction damage to the skin which the candida yeasts will take advantage of.

For the most part common sense and simple hygiene (that's a wash, DRY, and frequent change of underwear) will prevent most attacks but sometimes because you're feeling under the weather, you're taking antibiotics or you've spent 18 hours wearing tight PVC trousers on the hottest day of the year as a bet, an attack will occur. So what should you be looking for?

The most common symptoms are redness and raised spots on the head of the penis or on the foreskin. There may be a discharge and some material may collect under the foreskin which looks a bit like cottage cheese and has a yeasty smell. The skin can become very, very itchy and there maybe a painful burning sensation when you pee.

Hey I have this issue too. I'm fifteen and Not really wanting to go see a doctor about it.
I may have been in contact with an STD but I don't think it's like (Didn't even go in)
It's started as a few ichy red dots on my penis and it itched a bit, (Just thought I masturbated too much)
But since then it's been a few months, I thought it would go away but it hasn't. My heigene
down there is damn fine and I am starting to get worser issues with it, more dots, sore foreskin,
occasional pain when taking a piss, etc.
I would like to know how to fix this without telling anyone in person.
Thanks in advance.

Hey peeps,
I get similar symptoms to some of you guys,(Itchiness, Smegma, Strange smells, Red inflamation), but its normally when i'm stressed or really busy.

The connection, when you're stressed and busy you're normally in a rush and miss things. Like simply pulling back your foreskin and rinsing your knob(Tip) with warm water, gently, don't need to use force.
When i get into the habnit of doing that EVERY time i shower, i never get Smegma, which is simply down to hygiene. And Balanitis (From the Greek word, meaning 'Inflammation of the Acorn, or something like that), is connected with smegma. Think about it. You don't wash your knob, loads and loads of bacteria move in and set up shop and start causing problems in one of the most sensitive parts of the whole male body. Your body reacts by telling you this through pain, irritation, and inflamation.
I get worried about this kinda thing regularly, cause i'm sexually active, so i become aware of it, and keep it clean religiously for a few days and it quickly goes away. Problm solved. Its remembering to keep up the clean habits when there's all of life to distract thats the problem.

If you try this seriously for a few days and the problem still persists, then i'd genuinely would advise seeing a docter or an STD clinic ASAP.
Hope it helps.

Toodles.
