Hello, I'm so happy I found this page. I'm from Germany and didn't find ANYTHING in German about it. Isn't it weird.
To make a long story short: I removed the memory foam matress-topper from my matress after 1 year now. It seems like this is the reason for my rashes and all the other pain i've been through the last month.
As soon as I removed it (after the first night without the topper) I felt very dizzy, I felt sick and still after a few days now I don't feel good. Do you think it could be detox-symptoms? Isn't it weird that I feel worse after removing? I'm very desperate about that :(
Btw: a lot of other things got better now... I'm not so tired all the time anymore and I don't have a swallowed face anymore.

I'm so glad I clicked on this Google listing. I just won a free Tempurpedic pillow and decided to use it. For the last week I developed red, raised, scaly/dry patched skin on my neck and the back of my neck! I suffer from a skin condition, but it is nothing like this! Now that I've read these stories, I can see I'm not the only one. I used to own a Tempurpedic mattress and pillows when they first started being sold and never had skin problems. I'm wondering if these new generation of mattresses are made with harsher chemicals than the older versions?!? If so, this is terrible! I'm going to try my old, regular pillow and ditch the Tempurpedic one. Hopefully this rash will go away!

My husband slept on a memory foam pillow last night and his face and throat is so swollen. We couldn't imagine what caused this. We thought it was a medication,but he is not taken anything new. His face and neck are also itchy. Unbelievable.so scary!

I am having severe allergies as well to my Tempurpedic mattress, headaches, can't breathe, chest pain, sore throat, joint pain, ringing in the ears, itching. Just figured it out after sleeping on the mattress for about 6 months. My symptoms are getting worse and feel like I am dying a slow death.

I also got a rash from using a foam mattress topper. It was on my chest, sides, legs and arms. Did your rash go away? What about the mattress itself, was it contaminated by the foam topper?

topper mattress has broke me and my husband out we took it off our bed but because it was so damp like we are still have a few issues I have washed the cover over and over it has gotten better but not completely gone. help pls

I sure hope so!! I had a memory foam pillow and ended up covered in hives.arms, neck, scalp. On prednisone now for 3 days. Hives subsided immediately with a shot of benedryl but I passed out. From shot and had to go to ER!! Little itchy today... I guess that chemical get in bloodstream!

GET RID OF IT!! My experience like you I bought a pillow slept on it 3 nights. GREAT!! Starting thinking about getting a mattress Bad. Had a small rash but ignored it.after waking next morning HIVES all up and down my arms I hug pillows during sleep. NECK AND SCALP extremely inflamed with hives. Benedryl did not work! Went to Med Express and got SHOT of benedryl and passed out! But hives subsided. Threw pillow out immediately. Not on prednisone for couple days!! Still feeling little itchy. Think it gets into your system.. good luck!! That's my advice head for the trash bin!!

Curious of this was ever answered. Because I got a memory foam mattress topper a month ago and ever since I've had "pink eye" every ten days. I see a doc and get antibiotics and it goes away. Then comes back a week later. Finally went to a specialist who thinks it's an allergy and the only new thing is the mattress topper. I took it off tonight. But I'm also on steroids so it won't be a true test.

Woke up the other day feeling like death, came to realize let me look at the mattress tag that my dumb EX bought 2 years ago. Tempurpedic mattress dated 2007. Never felt right since I got this mattress have been light headed and dizzy. Whole-body broke out in a little pimple blister rash with a fever on and off for 2 weeks now it's not viral my blood work came back negative even went and had an MRI on my implants thinking maybe they're leaking. No rupture in the implants they are perfect. I feel like I have been toxic poisoning by this mattress

Thank you all for posting! I thought it was the new mattress cover we had to buy with the temperpedic, so I washed it but still have constant itching & rashes all day! I was thinking to try a mattress cover that is zippered, enclosed, allergy protection??
Does anyone have any thoughts on that??

I have an insanely itchy rash everywhere but my arms and face. I have never experienced anything like this. I will try a cotton mattress topper, but really don't want to invest anymore money on 2 beds I purchased. Nothing helps it. I am definitely going to sleep on my old bed. I've had the beds 2 months. I hope they will take them back. My chest hurts too, breathing problems I thought were separate, now I'm not too sure.

I have been using our Tempur-pedic bed for years. My wife has been complaining of bodyaches after sleeping on it all night at first I was skeptical but now I am starting to feel the effects of sleeping on the bed. I strongly believe that the cause of my nerve pains are the result of sleeping on a Tempur-pedic bed. I also strongly advise the reproduction and or scrapping the idea of making the foam better.
