i am 17 yrs old and i take sleep of 8 to 10 hrs and still i feel tiredness & sleepiness whole day i.e. I jst want 2 min. to get sleep in any time of the day so that from this my study also get affected. So plz give me soln of my problm and also give some suggestions to get sleep less than 7 hrs to devote more time to study.
Hello advika... how is your appetite? Are you eating healthy and do you take vitamins regularly? You may be stressed and this can make you feel tired during the day. Do you take any prescription drugs? Some drugs can make you sleepy. Drinking a lot of caffeine to stay awake is counterproductive because you will be extra sleepy once it wears off. Up your intake of water especially in the morning to give your body a good flush. Limit the caffeine and eat better and see if this helps you get out of your groggy state. Take vitamins with iron as well.
What has others done to become less tired and sleepy during the day?
