Do these bumps ever go away. I just found my first one on my right inner lip of my pubic area. My boyfriend didn't say anything about it. I am due for a paps in two months. I have been with the same guy since my last one, and this bump is how you are all explaining it. Skin colored very small and does not hurt, itch, burn , or look red. So what is this and does it go away?

WOW this sounds just like my experience... mine would come and go over time. eventually they blistered and burst so I had a swab test and boom... positive for herpes simplex 2. I was devastated since my BF probably cheated on me... you can never know for sure.... all these variables about dormant virus and when he seroconverted, when I became actively infected... I don't even know when my primary outbreak was. There is some new drug from australia called viradux-AU. I have seen lot's of people posting about it saying it actually works. I just ordered it. Hopefully it will help... I'll keep you posted.

Something I wish they had really taught us in sex-ed: even if you don't have a condom on for a SECOND you can get hpv from skin contact with warts.. and they are not always easy to see. They are no health risk but cause a lot of awkwardness and embarassment, but regardless anyone who thinks they may have hpv warts needs to get treatment.
I was prescribed Zyclara which has a lot of shitty side effects (diarrhea, swelling, pain, resistant yeast infections) but should be your first response because if you are patient and put up with the discomfort it will get the job done. I think I had an abnormally bad reaction so after a year of repeated attempts to get rid of the bumps I'm going to ask for an acid treatment next month.
I also passed it on to my boyfriend which has been very uncomfortable for both of us. I had mistakenly believed that a "pap smear" was an std test because at my first visit to a gynecologist the doctor and I didn't communicate very well. So I unknowingly passed it to my boyfriend and now I'm buying him medicine because he doesn't have health insurance. I'm still trying to get rid of my warts too. But some people have better luck than others. I waited too long to take mine to a doctor believing they were just natural bumps of some kind. Not a smart move. Take it to a doctor, treat aggressively. Look up HPV on google images if you need more motivation. They can get bad and damage your self esteem tremendously. Not to mention if you've got the wart strain then it's likely you've also got the strain that causes cervical cancer, so regular pap smears are a good idea.

if i have what all you girls have no need to worry about it being an std ive had them for as long as i can remember and im 16 and am a virgin so no, chances are they are not an std and my doctor didnt say anything about them when i went in to go get my lips looked at (upon my sisters insistance since mine are large for a girl that is a buck and 5"2')....but i would like to know how if at all can i get rid of them!!! it's comforting to know it's "normal" and that other girls have them however it doesnt make having them any less embarassing and uncomfortable feeling on my part..... But they are not stds!

I have the same. My GP assured me they are sebaceous glands and are noticable in lots of ladies because of the thinness of the skin in the area.
