small, hard lump on testicle

I have something like this, but it isnt connected, except for a small amout of tissue. any ideas on what it is?

this is exactly my problem too and it is a bit worrying, I have had this for around 4 years, I went to the doctors around 3 years ago and they couldn't really feel the lump and basically said I was fine, the lump is tiny only about 1-2mm but never the less is there and hurts sometimes, did you ever find out what it was? thanks in advance

Sorry but I strongly disagree. I have read up on this as I too have found a very small hard mass, but during my research I found very helpful articles. The most helpful was on a cancer site, and it said that any unusual lump needs to be checked by a Dr. but not to overreact and don't just figure that it is cancer. The site goes on to read that most of all lumps are NOT CANCER, and it lists a number of much more common reasons one could get a lump or mass on a testicle. It also said that testicular cancer is less then one percent of the cancers that males get. MOST LIKELY IT IS NOT CANCER ALMOST ALWAYS IT IS NOT CANCER, more often then not it is something else entirely. Any one who finds a mass or lump on there testicle it is very important to have it looked at by a DR., it needs to be checked because it is something that will need medical attention. It may be a clogged duct, a hard mass of small veins, or a cyst made up of fatty tissue and dead sperm cells. But do not freak out and research it yourself on a cancer site, do not rely on questions from strangers because all you will do is get info from people who do not really know what they are talking about, just like this gentleman who says it is most likely cancer. Relax, most likely it is not cancer, do a little research from a real medical site written by Dr's or health pro's and see your Dr asap. Thanks and good luck.
