For months, I have had a whitehead on the side of my nose that would not come out if I squeezed it. I finally got a close up mirror and used a sterile needle to open the top layer of skin and get out the whitehead. With tweezers I extracted a hard white ball of substance. What was it???? A whitehead, cyst, boil???? I had a few before. I used neospirine and it did not scar. Has anyone else ever had these and what are they?

I believe that what you are talking about is milia. It is also known as milk spots or oil seeds. They are usually found around the nose and eyes. They are sometimes a result of harsh face washes or from hot showering on people with sensitive skins.
