I'm glad that I wasnt the only one having this issues. I felt really bad having to tell my boyfriend of 5 years that they just stunk... Even after showering. Going to have to try some of these remedies and hope they work. It really kills the mood...

I had this problem for the first time recently (scrotum smelt like rotting meat!) and discovered an easy, cheap instant cure - tea tree oil! Just one application did it - apply as directed on the bottle (or tube, if ointment) to just the scrotum. Then put on your underpants! Done! The oil has a strong herbal distinctive smell. It's great to have around as it's a general anti-fungal and antiseptic. NOT for internal use (you'd spit/vomit it out anyway). It has nothing to do with tea you drink - it's called tea tree because of the leaves of the tree/bush look like tea leaves.

Try trimming your pubes & shaving your balls (very carefully with a brand new razor blade, preferably at least a 5-blade razor). This might sound scary at first, but you will learn techniques that will prevent you from cutting yourself. This, in combination with baby powder, helps prevent any sweat from sticking due to the lack of hair.

Hey I have the same issue its from this certain bacteria growing on the scrotum I use this medicated shampoo that works like a charm its ketoconzole shampoo they usually give for acne but does the same as getting rid of acne bacteria will kill most bacteria's.

He probably knows he has this problem and bothers him too. Tell him to try this. Put javex in spray bottle. Before the shover he should spray his balls and adjacent skin with it. After one was smell is gone guarantie.

My occupation requires me to be active outdoors. Once summer comes it's twig and berries funk season for me. Overall I am very hygienic, however it happens.

My doctor advised me on a regime that helps tremendously. Basically shower and dry completely. Then I powder my goods with Lotrimin AF, labeled for jock itch. I carry a container of antibacterial wipes in my work truck . I use these to freshen up during the day. They help keep bacteria down.

My doctor also recommended to rotate with clotrimazole every 2 months. Apparently bacteria will build up resistance to fungal products if repeatedly used.

This regimen clears my funk up and keep them happy. Your mileage may vary.

If his hygiene is top notch and he still has offensive odor there, you should worry about more than offending him.
This is a medical issue and he needs to see a doctor for a diagnosis, because something is not right. It is maybe an STD or maybe he's cheating on you with a s***k, I don't know, but something is wrong with this picture and you Need to be careful sweetie. Do NOT have sex with him or if that's not an option, at least do not have unprotected sex with him..or you are going to have a smelly vagina, or worse.
Even giving him Oral sex could possibly give you "Thrush" in your mouth. Take care of his health and protect your health by telling him immediately, if it's true he washes very good and the odor is still there soon after.
