Me and my boyfriend had sex 4 days ago. At first there was no condom so he put it in. Then after 3 seconds he told me that he'll put the condom on. So he didn't ejaculate in me. I am expecting my period today. I am so worried. I even woke up at 3am just to check if i have it.

Their is absolutely NO POSSIBLE way your pregnant Hun! Your period is just late you can't get yourself worked up like that! I promise as long as the Condom didn't break or he didn't ejaculate inside of you; you'll be fine. But u need 2 speak with him and ask him if he thinks the condom broke.

It definitely didn't break. Because when he took it out, the condom was still intact. i was just paranoid because at first he put it in without it. Thank you so much for the reply. It made me feel relieved.

That is not quite right! There are three things here.

  1. There could have been precum that contained sperm, with the potential to get cause pregnancy.
  2. Whether or not sperm entered the vagina, pregnancy would not occur yet anyway.
  3. With an expected period start within 4 days, it was not likely to have happened in a fertile period.

To say "Their (there) is absolutely NO POSSIBLE way your (you're) pregnant", apart from wrong word use, is only partly correct, but for the wrong reason.

  • Pregnancy is possible if sperm had entered the vagina about a fortnight ago.
  • From the activity of 4 days ago, it is not possible to be pregnant, but pregnancy could ensue.
  • The expected period arrival presumes ovulation a fortnight ago, in which case the activity was probably not in a fertile time.
  • However ovulation may have been delayed.

Nevertheless , it seems that the likelihood of pregnancy is very low.

Thank you for the reply. I don't know if i'm overreacting or not. i know that there's a possibility that there was precum, but he was only inside me no more than 4 seconds. He then put the condom on and we had sex. The condom didnt break, and he ejaculated when he pulled it out (still with the condom on) we were very careful. But late period is making me feel worried

4 seconds is plenty of time for any precum to be deposited (if there were any). Research has indicated that some men always have sperm in their precum; some never. However a prior recent ejaculation is likely to mean residue semen is in the urethra, which would mix with any precum. Any time you have sex there is a chance of pregnancy.
However, unless ovulation was substantially delayed so that you didn't ovulate until 4 days ago (10 days late), you should be okay. The chances are that your period has been delayed because of your stress.
