Lately, I have been experiencing stabbing pains on the left side of my chest primarily. Ocassionally, I will experience tightness in my throat, as well as shooting pains throughout each of my limbs. Nothing ever lasts very long, and while I might have an episode 3 times a day, the next I might have nothing. I'm a 44 y.o. woman, and at my check-up last year, my doctor said I was just about the healthiest person she sees each year. My weight is normal, I eat healthy for the most part, and I'm training for my 2nd triathlon. Aside from that, my husband & I have had to close a business, and it could be said that our stress level is extremely high with financial pressures. There is no history of heart disease on either side of my family, so I'm wondering if it might be stress, or there could be a medical reason for what I am feeling. I'm completely freaked out by this; my husband's best friend died of a heart attack two years ago, and he was completely healthy by all accounts.
