hi im gigi 21F from philippines. i've been diagnosed with SM when i was 17yo. my dr. told me there's nothing they can do nor i. they want me to accept it and just live with it. i just want to know if there's any of you here know dr.'s anywhere here located at philippines who's been doing or concern about this rare disease. i hope anyone can recommend me to someone or just remedies that anyone do that works on them that i want to try also because this disease is making me sick and making my self-confidence and esteem down.

Have you tried vein hook or mosquito forcep surgery yet?
I will be getting this process performed (I'm an American, the surgery will be in America) later this month. The results look very well in this specific patient below (see the link) and works by numbing the area of the skin where the cysts are located and individually extracting the wall and all of its contents. It's a temporary treatment but results without individual cystic recurrence are reported to last for up to 1 year or longer.

Any update? Im 21 from Philippines as well. Diagnosed with SM, had laser surgery, and it has been almost 5mos and marks were still visible my dermatologist promised that there were no scarring that will happen and I trust him. But as what I can see right now, there are new lumps starting to be visible with discoloration.

In order to treat this. purchase TCA acid peel 35% and a bottle of Amlactin. Purchase a mini application makeup paint brush. dip it in the TCA lightly one time. lightly brush the affected area so that only trace amounts of acid come in contact with your skin. you shouldn't feel the wetness of the acid otherwise you're applying to much. One tiny brush dip will cover one square foot of skin area, so use very little of this acid. you shouldn't feel it burn or you applied to much. After about five minutes, apply Amlactin lotion over the affected area. Now you may feel some tingling as the compounds in the Amlactin will activate the TCA. leave it on over night. Take a shower and then inspect the area, steatocystomas will appear whitish and dry, you can now pierce with sterilized small needle. You do not need to remove the sack. Apply the steps again that night and then wait three days before doing another session. For Eruptive vellus hair cysts, usually one application will be enough. You do not need to surgically remove the cysts unless they have hardened and sank deep below the skin. The tiny layer of TCA acid when activated by the Amlactin will penetrate deep into the the cysts strata. The affect will dry the sack wall and pull away from the connective dermis layer and will migrate to the surface of the skin very similar to Milia however these will begin to protrude from the skin. After a shower subsequent to applying the TCA, you can take tweezers and pull the sacks right out. They should slide out easily. Inspect the local area, if you see any abnormally thick hairs, pull them out. It is not known yet what causes these abnormalities but after plenty of disections I've noticed a miniscule amount of cholesterol deposits, aside from the keratinization. A closer inspection revealed that both patients were pre-diabetic which is accompanied by high triglycerides. Not enough evidence to prove a link but it would be very wise to get your blood checked and reverse type 2 diabetes by just cutting out sugar and supplementing your diet with Cinammon pills like Cinsulin. I understand these things can be stressful but don't be alarmed they can be managed. Goodluck, post your results. And please don't burn yourself with the TCA, you should feel like you're wasting your time by brushing a dry brush over the affected area, itll feel dry but trust me it's not.

HI! I used to come on here to look for a cure or treatment for steatocystoma-multiplex...I had had this since puberty and it was only mild on my chest and thats it...still it made me not want to take off my shirt and I have had over 3,000 in laser removal of the larger ones...

I gave up on finding a cure...I started a ketogenic diet in 2017. I started this diet because of health benefits and reducing fat, more energy, clear head, muscle growth, and tons more benefits. This diet reduces insulin, triglycerides, by keeping my sugar intake to zero and keeping carbs to 20-50 grams maximum a day. Its a high fat diet and my body now runs on ketones... and I realized the steatocystoma-multiplex cysts began to shrink! They have shrunk down by at least 70%...I believe if I continue to eat this way they may disappear in anther year or so...


Research a keto diet. They used to be visible on my chest and abdomen and now I can barely see/feel them... I hope they do go away completely but I am so happy they are almost gone. HOPE THIS HELPS EVERYONE!
