So when i do cable pull downs > these Cable Rear Pulldown
my sternum slightly slightly hurts if i touch it or flex rib cage for a bit.
also when i do tricep dips the same thing happens. i do not get any
pain when i`m not doing these exercises so only when i work them.
Is this serious? should i go to a doctor to check this out?
note i`m only 16 and no on in my family ever had bone problems or so

im the same as you and get these same pains when i go running......im trying to diagnose it right now but no success
My sternum hurt today when I inhaled and my lungs were nearly full during my run. I got a little freaked but tried to run through it but I got scared and stopped. I am fine now and I can breathe all the way in with no problem. What happened?
if you are having a pain in the sternum, even if it turns out to be nothing, it is a really good idea to see your doctor about this because I think that it could be a huge problem if it turns out to be a big problem and you don't get treatment for it. I am sure that it will turn out to not be a big deal but I am not a medical professional so get it checked! It can't hurt to have peace of mind, right? Let me know what the doctor says. I am curious to hear!
