Hi! I was having a similar problem and actually asked for some help on this website. A user gave me some advice which really helped:
"Try to focus on anything BUT your body and your fearful thoughts. Keep yourself occupied, distracted even."
I smoked about a week ago and the symptoms just wouldn't go away! I was so scared I spent hours on the internet looking for an answer to why it happened to me. Sometimes it occurs due to a reaction with a medication that you might be taking... it really depends. I think I over-smoked and my mind went into panic mode. I felt super high like three days after I had smoked (seeing everything in slow-mo, dream-like state, etc.) It sort of went away when I started focusing on other things; talking to my parents and friends about my trip to Europe, reading books... although I still feel weird every now and then (usually when I wake up from a nap or after I've been on the computer). But the symptoms have mostly gone away after a little more than a week.
Just know that you're not alone! I know it's scary (especially since there's not much research into this whole thing) but try to relax and think about other things :)
Hope this helps!

Okay, I have the responsibility to come back for an update, The symptoms are mostly gone!
Feeling almost normal at day 6th, That was mostly panic attack.
If anyone has the same feeling, my recommendation is; just try not to think about it, if you cannot stop thinking, go out for a walk and think about your life, about your childhood, about your best friends, about you mom and things that make you calm down,
Finally make your mind that you are done with this experience and you should live in the REAL LIFE, if you are a believer, you can pray to god, it helps you to calm down faster,
The point is you should decide to be normal, otherwise, it may take more than a month (you can easily google it, for some people it takes a month and a half).
Good luck guys, HOPEFULLY will never back here again ;)

You'll be fine, the secret is to accept you tripped the f**k out. I had the same experience, but think about it, is it really that bad? I mean, you are healthy, your body is young, it's not going to collapse on you, especially your heart, which is one of the strongest muscles in your body - it can withstand HOURS of accelerated heartbeat and even then it would still pump. You'll recover, believe me, I went through the same thing, for me it lasted almost 4 months, until I realized that there's nothing to worry about - If after 4 months I've only gotten better and nothing has gotten worse then it means I was just over thinking it, same as you're doing right now.
Believe me, you'll recover fully and you'll laugh about it after it'll be over, just accept it as a temporary state of mind; it's not necessarily anxious, but rather "alert", your brain is in defense mode, give it reasons to relax.
Cheers!

I still feel after 2 days the dizziness and anxiety that cannabis brings about.
How long till it wears off. Does it wear off?
