my daughter is on her period and today she called me to have a look at something which came from her vigina when she took out her tampon. it looked like a piece of her insides, on closer examination it looked like a piece of squid, sorry for the starnge disciption but that is the closest thing i can think of, it was flesh coloured with blood on it and about an inch and a half in length, can you advise what this might have been as she and myself are quite worried, she is not in any pain apart from the usual period pain she suffers but im not sure if there is an underlying problem
I'm surprised you haven't had this happen. I tend to get awful globs of blood and other gooey mess on every period I have, and they come in awful chunks for the first few days after which my period goes to a measly drizzle for the rest of the week.
If you feel very concerned, the reasonable thing to do is to get your daughter to a gyno to see if everything is in order. Better safe than sorry, yes?
