From June to the end August of last year, I lost a hefty amount of weight... around 20 pounds, I believe. I was only 115 pounds to start with. I'm now about 95 pounds. In early September, I discovered three odd lumps under my left armpit. I kept monitoring them for a while, and now I only have one small one under my armpit. However, in... November, I think it was... I discovered one lump on the left side of my groin (located in the area of the cluster of lymph nodes by that muscle) and one on my right. Those two were and still are fairly large. I stopped monitoring them until recently. I decided to check if they were still there, and they are. They've gotten bigger, and there's about five or six more of them. Most of them are fairly deep below my skin, but two of them are higher up and easier to feel. I also feel some deep in my neck, but I'm not overly concerned about those, though they are abnormal.

Hi all. I am shocked that so many people are suffering from the same ailments. I started to get pain in my armpits a few months ago. It seemed to show up close to "that time of the month". It was VERY painful, like a deep throb inside my armpits. My arms often felt "heavy" too. It eventually subsided and I have gone the past few months without reoccurance until this month. Now I have soreness in not only both armpits, but also my neck (sides and jawbone under chin), back of neck, collar bone, groin and here and there in my stomach. I have been to two Dr's in the past two weeks. They checked my glands and both said none were swollen. One actually gave me a pretty good exam including checking my breasts and armpits for lumps and found nothing. I asked why I was having all the pain then, and wasn't really given an answer. I was told today at the Dr that my neck issues were more than likely sinus/allergy related with draining occuring at night and the armpit pain was more than likely due to PMS or pre menapausal issues. (I'm 39 btw)....I don't have any other issues except the soreness of these glands which they keep telling me are not swollen. It doesn't make any sense as to how they can hurt but no swelling being present. The Dr today also told me that I have TMJ. I know that can affect areas in the neck and face, but could that affect other parts of the body as well?
I am shocked that the Dr's haven't suggested bloodwork be done. If this doesn't get better soon, i am demanding bloodwork be done. I hate not knowing what is going on and it scares me to death! I like having the internet to research this, but at the same time I get paranoid at some of the results I get, which makes me even more paranoid about what may be going on.
It's nice to know there are so many others out there dealing with the same issues. (It's not nice that you all are in pain, it's just easier to deal with knowing I am not the only one with no answers).

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS...CANDIDA (yeast overgrowth) It affects so many people and has a crippling effect if it gets out of hand. TRUST ME!!!!! This is not something that effects only woman! It affects men and children as well. It's a whole body problem. Do your research and DETOX. I have finally figured out ON MY OWN what is going on with me. I spent a ton of money going to a variety of doctors with NO HELP! Most Dr's will not even mention the word CANDIDA, even though it is becoming more and more of serious problem affecting so many otherwise perfectly healthy individuals. Our food system has radically changed and peoples bad diet choices don't help. It's good to get checked out for whatever the doctor might suggest, but try testing for candida first. You just might save yourself a ton of money, stress, anxiety sanity and time! HEY DOCTORS EVERYWHERE...you need to WISE UP and SPEAK UP!! Please educate yourselves and help your patients by suggesting testing for Candida, when they complain of multiple symptoms associated with Candida overgrowth.
