I've had a lump under my armpit for 4 months it's probaby a size of a cherry the doctor said it was a infection in my lymph nodes , so he put me on antibiotics for two weeks and it didn't go away just got a little bigger, so he scheduled me a biopsy and mean while , while I wait for my biopsy he put me on two more antibiotics for 10 days , I'm concerned it might be cancer , does it seem like it? It only hurts everyonece in a while when my arm is closed , and some times it itches really bad on the side of it .

I have been suffering the same symptoms recently and have found this to be the problem. Once I move away from the 'trigger' I feel absolutely fine again.

I actually have a few really hard abnormal lymph nodes under my right armpit, a little lower toward side of my breast. 2 years ago I went for mamo and ultrasound, & that dr was so concerned she refused to do a needle biopsy, wanted to jump straight to surgical removal AND biopsy. She was referring me to a.surgeon but I listened to others and went my own way with the surgeon. He was so sure from day 1.because of my.age he.would bet a.million bucks its.nothing. well here I am 2 yrs later and now they be gotten bigger and have multiplied. They aren't painful in anyway. When he.did "biopsy" he claimed to my husband he didn't see.anything abnormal so he just took a tissue.sample instead of removing these huge.rock hard.lymph nodes! They always ask my symptoms. Well I have Chronic Pancreatitis and it.is awful, so I can't differentiate symptoms from 1 thing to the next. I am always tired and just feel bad all the time. I don't just get night sweats, I get sweats all day long. Prior to all that 2 years ago, I was checked.for every possible infection I could have, everything negative, and still did about.a.month of pretty strong antibiotics...im just super scared here, because everything I read says if the lumps are rock hard, it's cause for concern. Idk what to do. I'm so scared. I mean the Dr at the breast center 2 years ago, who deals with this all day every day, said she could not think of 1 single reason other than the unfortunate obvious as to why I would have these rock hard lymph nodes. I really just don't even know where to turn at.thos point. And if by some miracle, I'm just a freak of nature with several rock hard.lymph nodes, I'd still like for them.to be removed. I mean isnt that what surgeons do? Remove abnormal stuff in the body? Sorry. Just hoping for a little advice.

So, around January 2017, I went to the doctor concerned I had contracted an STD. After going to the doctor, and having being tested and treated for an STD, the results came back negative for any STD's. Presently, I have swollen lymph nodes behind my ear, on my neck, in my armpits, as well as my groin. There is no type of discharge from penis, but the lymph node under my arm is somewhat painful. There are two knots behind my left ear that is somewhat painful as well. I was tested for HIV about 3-4months ago and the results were also negative. Lastly, i have joint popping in my upper thigh area near groin. does anyone know what this could be?

All, I am 66 and in pretty good health, I devloped a swollen node by my ear..It started to shrink but had gotten large again ...about the size of a marble. I had been sick with sinus and allergies before i noticed this. I am a believer in holistic medicine approach. I also want you to be aware of the toxins in our food and air. Educate yourself on healing naturally..eating healthy food. Natural remedies. Also, if you watch the sky we are being sprayed daily with chemicals and I am wondering if THIS could be part of the problem. Hope you all are doing better by now.
