I probably already know the answer to this... but some advice would help...
I had a very strange menstrual cycle last month. 2 visits from Aunt Flow about 2 weeks apart. My husband and I had been talking about trying to concieve again. So, I entered the days into an ovulation calendar and found my "best chance" would be from the 28th of August to the 2nd of September. Then, my husband got cold feet... understandable. He's 33 and is fearful that he's too old to start again b/c his father died young of heart disease. We got past that and decided to go ahead. Life is short. We had intercourse on the 4th and 5th of September. 2-3 days past the ovulation week... sigh. I had not been recording BBT, so know info on that part. Since then, I've been a crazy person. I've taken 5 HPTs already. Shameful. I know. I keep telling myself its too early. I have the clear blue digital hpt. It states in the directions that you can test 4-5 days pre-menstration. I'm a nursing student in the middle of the maternal/child course, so I know about HCG and it's exponential growth and implantation and egg only being viable for 12-24 hours and sperm only being viable for 80 hours. I'm just crossing my fingers. My problem lies in the fact that I feel as if I am pregnant. I have swollen tender breast and frequent urination (text says can be caused by hormones... cuz duh... there't not a 10lb baby pushing on it yet LOL). Anyway, I also have been having mood swings. (Prepare for TMI...) I also have a scant amount of creamy white odorless discharge. The issue is all of these symptoms are also PMS symptoms. Am I psyching myself out? Am I making a big deal over tiny PMS symptoms b/c I'm hoping they are pregnancy symptoms? How soon should I feel these symptoms if I am, in fact, prego. I can't find any text that states "from this time to this time you will feel this" so I don't know. My breast began huring 2 days ago and my urination began to pick up yesterday. I'm just wondering if this is psychosymatic or if I'm just testing too early and could actually be pregnant. My other two children were unplanned so I'm not used to looking for early symptoms. I should begin my next menstrual cycle in 2-3 days if I'm not prego. Sorry to be so long winded. Thanks in advance for any help.
