My girlfriend goes to school in California so for spring break we met up. We had copious amounts of sex the first few nights but no pain. Then one day mid day I felt a weird stinging sensation under my foreskin (I am not circumcised) but thought it was nothing and ignored it ( Maybe relevant? ). Then the following days sex became pretty painful and one morning I woke up and it was very hard to pull the foreskin down at first because of how painful it was, and there was a white flaky band around that part of my foreskin (I assume dead skin). I got up to go take a shower and there was a large amount of Smegma underneath which is a pretty rare occurence for me. After further examination I noticed small cuts all pretty close in proximity in a band around my foreskin. I've been thoroughly cleaning it twice a day with soap and water but to no avail the situation has worsened.
No idea if it was the rough sex and lack of care the first two or three days she was here ? Or maybe a fungal infection ? I just don't want to apply the wrong thing and make whatever situation I have worse.
Thanks in advance anyone who answers.

Update: I bought hypoallergenic part moisturizing sensitive skin dove soap, lotramin for anti-fungal and baby diaper rash cream in an attempt to control moisture in the area.
About to shower and apply. If anyone has any further tips please let me know.

This could be yeast infection my dear.i do experience this sometime and the doctor one time told me i had fungal infection, candida to be specific . these cuts are funny you can have them even for short time sex,its not that you did over it.its because the skin tend to be a bit dry and light so to say.I have even been having sores between my toes.A lot of articles about this advises on the use of a particular cream or seeing a doctor wont be a bad idea
